White Wedding rolls the millions

AFTER grossing R1,1million at the box office in its first week of its release, local film White Wedding continues to make more millions.

Written by two well-known actors Rapulana Seiphemo and Kenneth Nkosi, the film was released seven weeks ago and now it has made over R4,2million. About 200000 people are reported to have seen the local film.

The film has sold more tickets than the hit gangster movie Jerusalema did on its opening weekend, and twice as many as Academy Award winner Tsotsi at the time of its release. Other films it has surpassed include Slumdog Millionaire. Click here for more
