Here is a little background of the bride and her groom : Ntsebeng Maine grew up in the dusty small town called Schweizer-Reneke and attended high school in Carletonville, Gauteng where she first saw and instantly fell inlove with her now husband, Mohale Selebogo who was born in Soweto, Gauteng (Orlando, Soweto.
Mohale didn’t take note of her during their school years and it was only until she was a senior and he was out of high school that cupid started to make plans for the two. The two went out on an ice cream date in 2005, but the timing proved not to be the best for their union. They then kept contact and started dating formally in 2007 when both were in varsity.
The relationship lasted only about 3 months (That timing issue again). The two lost contact thereafter but never really forgot about each other until they randomly ran into each other in Sandton, Gauteng back in 2009 – They exchanged contacts. Mohale kept on reminding Ntsebeng about his words: “One day I’m going to marry you”
The two of them were obviously into each other, but when it’s not yet time, it’s just not time! Three years later in 2012 they got reunited in yet another random encounter back at their alma mater in Carletonville and from that day on (17/03/2012) the two started secretly dating for a while.
Mohale said that they were done “Facebook stalking” each other and loving each other from a distance because this time… the time was right. Their relationship blossomed… Mohale paid Lobola in 2013, and in 2014 they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl (Zoe Selebogo). And finally they said “I Do” at the most beautiful and heart-warming matrimonial ceremony. Indeed their wedding was a true “love experience” and their union is also an inspiration and a clear indication that true love always prevails and it does conquer all.
I just love it when couples have a loads of fun and show their personalities at their wedding. And you could feel and see their love for each other.
Mohale and Ntsebeng’s dream wedding was held at the beautiful Uurpan Safari Lodge. It is about 10 kilometers outside the town of Schweizer-Reneke. I spotted waterbuck, kudus and giraffes! It has a beautiful church with a big reception venue next door.
Mohale got ready at Feathers Guest Lodge_Schweizer Reneke. His groomsmen looked dashing in their gray suits and Mohale just stood out with his maroon three piece ensemble. That was around 7 in the morning and we did managed to take a couple of pictures.
Meanwhile, Ntsebeng got ready at a guest lodge on the Uurpan property which was a couple of kilometers away from the venue. She was surounded with her bridesmaids and Busisiwe Vilakazi (Nomalee Beauty) did a stunning job with her make-up skills! Ntsebeng’s dress was from Fantasy Bridal Wear in Johannesburg. Her bouquet was full of white and lilac roses with some lilies in the center while her bridesmaids flowers were a mixture of lilac roses and delicate purple flowers which perfectly complimented their elegant and flowing deep purple dresses. I hope I have the colour right, Ntsebeng?
Mohale and Ntsebeng exchanged vows in the little church on the property with their closest family and friends in attendance. The summer sun was unbearable. We did manage to take a couple of pictures with family and friends and took most of the other pictures later that day towards sunset. And what a gorgeous sunset for a gorgeous couple!
Most of them were taken after the reception. The hall was beautifully decorated and they even invited a traditional Setswana Dance Group to entertain the guests.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the day. May God bless your holy union until the end of time!
