Refers to a braai over a shared open flame. Derived from IsiZulu and literally means ‘Burn Meat’.
Shisanyama is a place/shop where they sell braai meet either and have braaistand/s. You braai it yourself or they do it for you. These places are commonly found in the townships and also in towns.
